Review
Caught a classic ep of 'Friends' one day, the one with...
Phoebe: Okay, just tell me this, did you or did you not smell her hair?
Ross: S-s-smell her hair? What if I did?
Phoebe: Ninety percent of a women’s pheromones come out the top of her
head! That’s why, that’s why women are shorter. So that men will fall in love
when they hug them! Oh come on Ross, you’re a
scientist.
Ross: I was hugging her as a friend. It’s not my fault her-her hair got in
my face, she’s got a lot of it and it smells all-all uh…coconutty. Maybe
it means I have feelings for coconuts!
Somehow in an instant, coconut shampoo = WANT.
So off I went to my local Woolies on the hunt for something deliciously tropical. What I found was Palmolive's Naturals Intensive Moisture Shampoo. In a sleek pink bottle and on sale for under $3, quick 'flip test' and I was sold.
The good
(+) fruity, creamy scent which lingers on hair
(+) creamy texture, lathers well
The bad
(-) initial scent is strong and can be a tad chemical, but it gradually fades to a softer fruity scent
(-) didn't notice any intense moisturising effects, pretty standard
The verdict
Great everyday shampoo, my go-to when I want a yummy, lingering scent.
Score: 4/5
Would repurchase.
